Founded in June of 2009 by Kris Willey, WOTGG is a women’s networking group comprised of green business owners, eco innovators, writers, reporters, organic farmers, yogis, health and wellness practitioners, and environmentalist, from CEO’s to stay at home moms - WOTGG is dedicated to providing a space for professional women in sustainability or looking to become more involved in the green business. Our mission is to educate, inspire, motivate, share resources, and connect with other individuals and organizations that are actively engaged in sustaining our planet and working towards positive transformation.
Our 2nd annual Women of the Green Generation Conference was an amazing event and we want to continue growing WOTGG to be bigger and better to support our members and help them achieve their green personal and professional goals! The next step for the WOTGG Community is our incredible Membership Program that includes complimentary entrance to our monthly networking events, discounts on workshops, a feature presentation at a WOTGG event and much more!

Community
The purpose of WOTGG is to provide a space for professional women to support each other. This can be done by means of sharing resources and information, business referrals, patronizing each other, supporting sustainable community projects & non-profits and by the simple act of volunteering to help each other when help is needed.
Workshops
Real life experience is the best information that all of us can share so that we can inspire, educate and motivate each other. From business basics and viral marketing programs to PR, and social networking we offer a wide range of workshops featuring speakers who have “been there and done that.” WOTGG events are dedicated to sharing critical information from successful eco-preneurs and women who are leaders in the environmental and sustainability movement.
Membership Details
By becoming a WOTGG member you are entitled to reap the benefits that non-members will not have access to - such as our “members only” on line forum, promotional email blasts, inclusion on our website and personal email introductions which are designed to connect you with valuable resources.
Please note - you do not have to become a member to attend our monthly events Membership is simply designed for those who want to get the most value out of the organization. Membership Benefits Include Members discount: members will receive discounts on all workshops, think tank forums, Master Class Events and our annual Women of the Green Generation Conference. Members also receive discounts on sponsorship options. Weekly opportunities: PR & business leads, personal email introductions, local meet-ups outside of WOTGG and more. Marketing benefits: All new members will receive inclusion in our monthly newsletter (one per year) and will have their company info posted on WOTGG website for one year. (Will be posted on our sponsor’s page) Presentations: All new members are entitled to one 10-minute presentation of their green product or service at a WOTGG networking event.
