Founded by eco-preneuer Kris Willey in June of 2009, Women of the Green Generation creates a space where women can share their ideas and passions for solving environmental and social problems with economically viable eco-solutions.

Kris Willey - founder WOTGG
Kris Willey attended harbor college as a music major with the dream of becoming a composer but that idea was quickly sidelined as she jump started her career as blues guitarist and singer at the tender age of 21. Kris played in various clubs and venues for over 12 years professionally.
During her musical career Kris also developed interests in yoga, meditation and ayurveda. In 2004 she decided to give music a break and focus her attention on sharing her passion for environmental awareness and wellness with the community.
In 2008 Kris began working for an environmentally aware vegan ice cream company, Luna and Larry's Coconut Bliss. This opened the doors further into the green space as she began a side career working as natural products rep. In May of 2009 Kris formed a networking group specifically for environmentally conscious women. The result was somewhat of a phenomenon as women through out Los Angeles and the nation began to reach out to Kris with the desire to get involved with Women of the Green Generation!
Kris Willey has been featured in The LA Times, Local edition CNN, and various E news publications and blogs. She is dedicated to helping women survive and thrive in the green business space and environmental movement, which includes positive transformation on both a personal and global level.
In addition to sharing her gifts as a writer, musician, yogini, public speaker and green living entrepreneur, Kris is expanding Women of the Green Generation to include workshops, seminars, master classes and the Annual WOTGG Conference.
